Helping to deliver RMIT, New Academic Street – Melbourne May 4, 2019

The Marcus Construction team were extremely proud to be part of the award-winning RMIT University New Academic Street (NAS) precinct build, which is at the cutting edge of tertiary education design. The project transformed the University’s historic central business district buildings into stunning modern learning facilities and beautiful recreational areas for RMIT students and its faculties.

“The seamlessly integrated design provides an ideal outdoor area for the tertiary students to be inspired by their surroundings.” – Chris Tsakmakis, Owner of Marcus Constructions Pty Ltd.

The rooftop area was designed to provide the RMIT community with a space in which they can learn and collaborate. The addition of numerous fabricated timber and steel elements offer break out spaces for users to freely work or socialise within the landscaped area.
